MakeUp in Paris returns on June 18–19, 2025, at the Carrousel du Louvre

The trade show for makeup and skincare suppliers returns to the Carrousel du Louvre for its 15th edition on June 18–19, 2025.

At the eve of its 15th anniversary, MakeUp in Paris intends to expand to new territories. "In 2019, recognizing the rise of hybrid skincare-makeup products, MakeUp in naturally expanded its scope to embrace skincare. Today, the horizon stretches even further: from haircare to nutricosmetics and emerging niches, our event spaces, conferences, and activations now encompass the full spectrum of beauty innovation," said Sandra Maguarian, the event's co-founder and director.

Ingredients, formulations, packaging

This edition will welcome over 145 exhibitors [1], including 11% newcomers [2], from around twenty countries.

This year, for the first time, secondary packaging is making its way to MakeUp in Paris with the participation of Drimpak, Grafiche Sabbioni, Knoll Prestige Packaging and Homer.

In addition, the Ingredients and Lab Pop-ups will highlight the raw materials and formulation solutions presented by DKSH, Sytheon and Seppic.

Led by consultant Luisa Oliva and her team, the ephemeral PopUp in Lab will invite participants to step into the shoes of a cosmetic creator. Through hands-on experimentation, they'll explore unique ingredients — emollients, emulsifiers, pigments, gelling agents, and more – to create unique textures that stir the senses

Emerging brands, innovations and trends

With the aim to nurture new and emerging talents, the Beauty Tank competition will provide a launchpad for bold new cosmetic entrepreneurs. This contest offers aspiring entrepreneurs and emerging brands the opportunity to pitch their concepts to a jury of industry professionals and experts.

As every year, the Innovation & Trends Awards will celebrate the innovations from the exhibitors at MakeUp in Paris across four categories: Accessories, Formulation & Ingredients, Full Service, and Packaging. New this year: the Ocean Beauty Award, a cross-category prize will honor innovations using marine resources to create natural products while protecting ecosystems.

This year's edition saw 65 exhibitors participating with 116 product entries submitted. The five winners of the MakeUp in Paris Awards 2025 will be announced on Wednesday, June 18 at 6:00 PM, followed by a cocktail reception.

Rounding out the two-day exhibition, a full program of conferences and workshops —featuring leading trend agencies [3] — will offer essential insights into the latest industry developments.
